That's perfectly normal. My periods were irregular, too when I first started. It has been almost two years and they are sometimes still irregular. So, don't worry or wonder about it, a lot of girls have the same thing.

your body is adjusting it is ok. its normal. the best thing for cramps is a heating pad and hot chocolate to heat up the muscles. Your period will get on a regular cycle. if you are old enough get on birth control the best thing you could ever do. That makes it on a schedule and the cramps arent that bad either. Also if your active like sports it goes away faster and it goes away in the water. When you first start it is ok for it to come and go as long as it is not all month :) hope fully i have been some help!!

Oh, honey don't panic. If you just started, just about anything is "normal". See an OBGYN and get some good information . They can give you a low dose birth control just to regulate you. I highly doubt it's anything to worry about and if you are self conscious, there are plenty of female doc's out there that will know exactly what you are going through.

It's common for your cycle to be uneven at first. Give it a few months. Plus since it's generally every 28 days for a lot of women, if you have one on the first of the month, you could get your next one before the month is over.

When you first begin your periods they dont settle into a normal monthly routine for a little while . You should mark them on a calendar untill they settle to just once a month . Its annoying I know but when you do establish a better idea of when your monthly will begin you wont have to guess so much and the calendar method for me worked .

Were they one day apart? Sometimes a period will go on a break for 4 hours to a whole day in the middle of your period.

If they were more like 25 or 26 days apart- well, some girls have them more often and lighter.

well I had the same problem...dont worry you are probaby having some hormone issues..that is what the doctor said to me..he said I had imbalance hormones..I even had a period up to one month..he consider me getting on birth control to regulate my periods...Always, dont rule out stress...but even though you are asking for advice...go see a Doctor and get a pap done to make sure...its your health and its important to you...I am not physic even though they told me it was nothing to worry about..I went and got checked that is how I know...
