Hello, Elida - there isn't a cure for Hepatitis C -- yet. There is definitely progress that has been made. Since 1999, the following past and future plans have helped us move forward towards a cure:

PEG-IFN: Combination with ribavirin - 1999

IFN combination with:
Helicase inhibitors - 2002-2003
Protease inhibitors - 2002-2003
RNA dependent RNA polymerase inhibitors - 2002-2003
IRES-inhibitors - 2002-2003

Antisense nucleotides that bind
IFN resistance element - 2008

DNA vaccines that stimulate CTL activity
Utilize myocytes to make viral proteins - 2008

There are a couple of websites that you'll find useful, and most encouraging:

http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/hepatitis/c

God bless you, and keep that wonderful chin up.
