Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Honestly I don't know this answer, but I can't see why it would hurt to brush it away. Don't brush hard enough to cause trauma and cause further infection or anything, but getting the nasty yeast out of there can only be a good thing I would think.

I think that brushing will help but it is also irritating. If money is an issue, ask a pharmacist. I think most likely you will need medication. That doesn't mean you will necessarily need a prescription. Try the pharmacist first. Man, that has to be uncomfortable, don't wait too long. Hope you or whomever you are asking about feels better soon!

that's bacterial, see a doc he'll give you antibiotics.
and do cleanse the mouth, gums, teeth and tongue too.
even after you're feeling better.
