This question is in regards to a one on one game ! It doesnt matter who was the better overall basketball player in a 5 on 5 game !

I'd definitely go with Pippen in this matchup.
Pippen was one of the great defensive forwards in NBA history. He'd do a decent job of shutting down Miller's shots.
Offensively, Pippen could put the ball on the floor almost equally well with either hand...he could go to his right OR to his left. Miller was never a great one on one defender to begin with , but with Scottie able to take him to the hoop with either hand, I don't see how Miller would be able to stop Scottie from slamming every shot.
Pippen also had a great pull up jumper (just in case Reggie ever does guess 'right' or 'left' on Pippen's move).
Go with Pippen all the way!

Pippen by far. Pipper can play defense, and score. Reggie is a phenominal scorer, but he needs the screens to get open. In one on one, pippen would be all over him. Plus Reggie is a horrible defender, who is smaller than scottie.

Pippen, coz he's an overall player.... better than a swingman, good defender, good physical inside player and good outside player. Reggie is best when he has teammates finding him free for the long trey. He's good defensive player but not physical enuff to survive one on one brawl with scottie. Scott will win.

Scottie Pippen by far. Reggie is an excellent perimeter player, but Scottie is also known for his defense.

One on one? Reggie has no chance. He got no low post defense. He can try to out score Pippen with 3's but he is not THAT accurate.

reggie miller is a scorer. scotty pippen is a roll player. reggie would win. the real question is who would win between miller and jordan. Indiana did play Chicago, a lot, and Chicago did not win all the time.

Pippen of course. Miller just scored a lot during his career because he goes to a lot of screens, 2 or 3 teammates so he loses his defender

pippen will definately win
coz he's a better overall player. reggie might be a better offensive player, but that works only on 5 against 5 situation.
in mano to mano, pippen who is bigger definately will have better chance scoring, while reggie will have difficulties scoring against pippen (pip is by far better in defense).

Both of them were good players, don't get me wrong. I'd go for Scottie Pippen just to declare a winner.
