I ahve a hard time haggling in the first place and to be honest, I know people will think I am a nut but I would have a hard time not feeling guilty about walking off with something I knew was worth a lot and was marked at only a dollar, I would probably tell the person selling it.
I did however purchase a book for 50 cents once and later found out it was worth about $40.00, I never would have guessed.

Please. If you have to bargain things down originally priced at a dollar, there's something wrong with you. How many times have you wasted a dollar on useless junk. At least this is really worth something, and if you know it, there's always the chance that they know it and mistakenly put it out, or labeled it as such. Take it at a dollar and RUN with it.

No; even for something only worth 2 bucks, a dollar would still be a good deal, right?

once we were at a yard sale and this lady was selling this used iron for like 1.00 and this lady( she was foreign ) was trying to haggle with her. This other lady waiting to buy something was like hey its not the open air market, its a yard sale, 1.00 or move on!
geesh

Of course I will pay. Hey, that bargain's too good to be true. But then, look again if it's authentic. It may be a fine replica. :P
