My orientation is tomorrow at 10am. I do not know if you had to have a physical done by then or not. I thank all of you who answer my question.

Yesteryday (Saturday), I had my interview. The manager told me to go home and get my work permit papers. I did, and they signed their section of it. I just need the last section which is the doctor's section. She knows I have not had my physical done yet. Also, I am pretty sure this orientation is just so I can look around and see what I am going to be doing.

There's no way for us to really answer question because we don't know the company, your boss, and what job you got. But in general, some companies require this to be done ahead of time, while others give you a given amount of time to get that physical.

You'll certainly find out at orientation, but you could have simply asked them beforehand so you'd know for sure.

I assume they already give you an offer with the condition that you pass your physical. Does it say anywhere when you need to get that done? Also, it's the orientation your official first day?

It depends on the company hiring you. Some do, some don't.
