Going by their careers, I'd have to give the edge to Pippen.
Pippen played a supporting role his entire career, and stuck to that. He didn't try to be the superstar. He did what it took to win, regardless of his personal stats.
Reggie was "the man" for pretty much his whole career. Outside of being a great scorer, he really didn't bring much else to the table. He was however, one of the greatest clutch shooters ever.
Now, had Pippen been asked to be "the man", I'm sure I would go with Reggie. But, based on the way things went, Pippen was a better OVERALL player.

Ok, despite playing 211 more games than Scottie, Reggie scoring average per game in his seasons' career is only 2 points higher than Scottie (18.2 to 16.1). On the other hand, despite playing 211 games less, Pippen outrebound, outblocked, outassists and outsteals Miller by a significant margin.
So overall, Pippen is better. Reggie scores more, and suck defensively.

If the key word here is overall I dont see how anyone can say its not pippen. He was a better post player, defender, passer, rebounder, he had more nba first teams. Also, he had his best year when Jordan retired. Pippen led a rag tag team of nobodies as deep into the playoffs in '94 as Miller ever did with a better supporting cast. Pippen has better career stats in every category, including shooting percentage then miller except scoring.
Career stats:
Scoring: Pippen-16.1 Miller-18.2
Shooting %: Pippen- .473 Miller- .471
Total Rebounds: Pippen- 6.40 Miller- 3.0
Assists: Pippen- 5.2 Miller- 3.0
Blocks: Pippen- .80 Miller- .20
Steals: Pippen- 1.96 Miller- 1.08
'94 stats, only season in both players primes without Jordan
Scoring: Pippen- 22.0 Miller-19.9
Rebounding: Pippen- 8.70 Miller- 2.7
Assists: Pippen- 5.6 Miller- 3.1
Blocks: Pippen- .81 Miller- .30
Steals: Pippen- 2.93 Miller- 1.51
Pippen led his team in every statistical category and the Bulls were 55-27
Miller led his team to a 47-35 record only leading his team in scoring
The Bulls lost deep in the playoffs to the Knicks in game 7 on a questionable call WITHOUT Michael Jordan. Pippen was all nba first team, 3rd in MVP voting, all NBA first defense and MVP of the all-star game.
Pippen may have only won championships with Jordan but Jordan also only won with Pippen. They needed each other. Obviously playing with the greatest player of all time will diminish someones stats yet they are still better then Millers in everything but scoring. Then, if you compare the only year where Jordan want there Pippen averaged 3 more points a game then Miller and beat him handily in every category.
Pippen, handled the ball, played shut down defense, scored on higher percentage shots, passed better etc... All Miller is known for is shooting and his career shot % is lower then Pippens and Miller never was "clutch" enough to win a championship.
Scottie Pippen also has many more accolades like all all NBA first team: 7 times
member of NBAs 50 all-time greatest players, Miller is not
7 time all-star with one all-star mvp
20 career triple doubles, 4 in the playoffs
This shouldnt even be a debate, this question was who was a better three point shooter, Pippen is considered the best all around player of all time, and for anyone playing the Jordan card look at the numbers for '94

It isn't even close in my opinion. Scottie Pippen was a better passer, rebounder, and much defender. Reggie was probably more clutch but, that was because Scottie hardly ever got the ball at the end of the game. The reason was Michael of course.

Scottie Pippen. Reggie obviously doesn't compare with Michael Jordan. When MJ was out of the game, Scottie could carry the Bulls. He was doing MJ's job on top of his own. Doesn't that already speak volumes?
