Why do bad smells seem to stay around forever and good smells you can't keep around long enough?

because bad smells have a greater impact on our brains. it triggers our instinct for survival. when the nose smells something awful, the brain tells the body to move away from the source as quickly as possible. and since bad smells=danger, the brain tries to remember it so that it could recognise this "danger" when it comes around again.

well.. thats in heaven hony .. there is no bad smell there
