i have a big family and i dont like anyone on my compuyer while im away. sometimes thay mess it up and it takes me a while to get the so called kinks out of it .

Hi, assuming that you are using Microsoft windows XP, then you should be able to set up a password.

Click "Start",
Click Control Panel
Click "Settings"
Double click "User Accounts"
Then click your username
Then click "Set Password" (or similar) and set the password
(Make sure you remember the password!)

Just make a password. If your using windows, I think this option would be somewhere in your Control Panel (click on START button - Settings - Control Panel)

Either Administrators Tools or User Accounts.

If it's XP, password protect your account and disable the guest account.

set a password on your computer....go to control panel, click user account, and click set password..(n_n)

Easy fix....Take some of the cords out of the back with you....Or hide them in a good place.....Good Luck, I know what you mean!!!
