For me, saddening thoughts of hopelessness run through my mind like i'm not going to make it anywhere in life. ******* ACT test, family problems, inferiority, Those are just a few of things in my distorted mind. I try to psyche myself up somedays, but it only makes things worse. My parents basically speak through me leaving me with no real identity and if I have my own way or idea of doing something, they just dam I can't talk to females because of it. I compare myself to other people and try to get what they have. I also think that everything i've done or anything that I have accomplished has meant nothing to anyone, even myself... I don't know what to do. My friends tell me to change, but it's easier said than done. Give me your imput on this topic on my depressing life....

Listen to me! You are going to do big things in life Quint! You really shouldn't be worrying about the ACT THAT much! I mean sure it detemines what college you go to, but that's it!!! Your parents are a$$holes plain and simple! Don't let them affect you that much!

Work out. And that isn't a joke. It makes you feel good about yourself for many reasons. Chemically speaking, it releases chemicals that make you feel good (endorphines). It also makes you imagine that you are beautiful and takes your mind off of your other troubls. It really works, trust me, cause I have the same shi_t to worry about. If that doesn't work, try destroiying your life with drugs. Actually though, I won't endorse smoking, but getting drunk with your friends can really make things easier.

You are the only one who can change the way that you think. You need to make up your mind that you are going to change. If you are that depressed maybe you could benefit from some medication and therapy.
