"Hello again Kimberly!
After checking your questions and answers, I see that you ask a lot of relevant, good questions and provide many penetrating answers. I hope I'm up to your tasks.
After many years now, I have come to know myself as a emotional, intuitive type of guy (in Jungian terminology).
I'm not admitting my age, but, I've come upon most of the motivating factors that have pulled me through limiting, defeatist behavior to my perception of success.
It has taken me many years to integrate heart and brain (or brain and heart) in equal amounts to determine my successes and/or failures. The funny thing is that the more I use them, the more and further I can look into myself. The more I see into myself, the more others become important to me. I started out with a conscience and an ego when young. I could never take a buck from someone by taking advantage of them. I still can't. I now love friendly competition, after all, we have many of the same human goals. I am now more motivated by friendships than possessions. The more wholesomeness and goodness I see in others, the more I tend to reflect their behavior unto them, like a mirror. As a pleasant consequence, I have new friends, yet, they have always been friends. They have, just now, become known to me.. Goodness and friendship multiply themselves ... sometimes they exist without being made to happen. If you are of likekind, you'll know, exactly, what I mean.".

ALWAYS! tell the truth, treat others the way you would like to be treated, be on time, do your best, plan ahead, set goals, PAY CASH(or debit card,no credit), read at least 1 non-fiction book a month(biography's,motivational,etc..)dream big,do a budget, listen to motivational speakers(Dave Ramsey, Zig Zigler, the Preacher etc...) DON'T! pass the buck, play the blame game, procrastinate,be tempted by drugs ( that's legal or illegal ) settle for less than YOUR best. Look they're alot more and you'll learn as you go good and bad just don't make the same mistake...twice . Good luck on your journey and enjoy it God bless

My interpersonal skills coupled with integrity have been the strongest contributors to my success. I had no idea how much this would help me at work until I got going in my job as an HR Manager.

In my professional life, I've seen it over and over again... the guy who has all the degrees in the world, IQ of 180, math genious... but totally pisses off everyone he comes in contact with or back stabs... does not last long. The person who people can talk to, work with and joke with will go miles ahead of the genious alone.

My interpersonal skills have also helped my husband and I communicate better!

So, if you're good at what you do AND you get along with people, the world is your oyster!

My strong points are my ability to communicate in written and verbal form effectively, relate positively to almost anyone, perseverance in my education and employment opportunities, and my sense of humor. These traits have helped to do well in my career and contributed toward me being in a significant leadership position in my field.

I hope many participants in Yahoo questions, etc. will take the time to ask themselves this question, thoughtfully answer it, and accomplish their dreams by focusing on/utilizing their strengths.

My strongest point or quality is being positive about life and people.
As for succeeding, what"s the definition? My attitude is that we're all successful in some ways. Success is a state of mind.

Strong work ethic, independence, persistence, willing to take on a challenge, compassion, and common sense. How have they helped? I think they speak for themselves ... if you foster those qualities you will succeed.

Flexiblity, loving God and loving people. These attributes have allowed me to get jobs over more qualified people, because being able to get along is the most bankable asset.
