When should you start filling out college applications?

If your in high school when should you start sending college applications in?

Well they don't start accepting them until fall of the year before you want to go. So you would send in applications in september for next september. But you can start looking as early as possible. I started visiting schools in junior year of high school.

You should start looking at colleges and universities the beginning to middle of your junior year. Once you've taken your SATs or ACTs and are satisfied with you scores you should begin applying. Apply the earliest day that you can once the college or university starts accepting applications. You should be completely finished with all of your applications by the end of your junior year.

If you want to improve your chances of getting in, send in your completed applications by Sept/Oct., when schools set their "early admissions" deadlines. These are usually the early decision dates when competition is less severe. Good luck!
