My husband claims that the weigh of the flakes is different from the fluid ounces that you get when you melt the wax.

You should get around 26 jar candles from the 10 pounds of soy wax.

Hubby is right, X-Wife made candles for years, besides this I know. Most 6oz containers, you only want to put 4oz in each one, And with soy wax, Never use more than 1 1/2 oz of fragrence for each pound. I'm sure i can come up with a lot of usefull crap if I were IM'd bout it

10 lbs is 160 oz. 160/6 is 26 candles, with a few ounces of wax left over.

I don't know if working with wax and the numbers you gave translate mathematically, but if it does, then it's about 26.5 jars of 6 ounces

16oz to a lb means you have 160 ozs of wax
divided by 6=26 and a bit left over.
