what's the point? i know i know... i'll learn or whatever. i'm just sick of all this work! gah!... your thoughts?

I felt the same way when I was in school. It felt like an endless grind. When I finally went to work, I began wishing that I was back in school. You have to try working 50 hours a week the entire year with just two weeks of vacation to appreciate homework. Good luck with your studies.

dont know, my new sci. teacher gave me 3 months of homework to do over the weekend and its 7:50 and iv barely started

There's not enough time to teach everything during school hours. Also, there are things that can't be taught at school: learn things, how to do research, etc.

why do teacher give so much homework?

cause student need work.
