when your mature and know you can support a child/children alone, never know what will happen so don't make plans to rely on someone.some women are ready by 18 others at 30.

I am 33 and now I realize that the best age to start having babies is 26 and over, I had my first son when I was 17 and I didn't have to much patience and then I have a son when I was 26 and I was patient and you can see the difference.

Definitely not at 16 years old, life has'nt even begun for this child yet.she is still a baby herself.i feel the age to have children would be at least 28-30 because you need time to explore and see what is out in the world, see what it is like to be without children, because to have children is a whole new ball game.
once you have children, there is no turning back the hands of time.you no longer can think of yourself, but for your child or children in which isn't easy at all.i think that she should have finished school and gotten a decent education first for the sake of her child and herself.just some advice from someone with seven children.

There is no "good age" to have children.
I think that you have to be emotionally mature enough to realize that a child is not a toy, that you can't put it up and leave it there cause you are bored playing with it and it isn't fun anymore.
I think that you must be able to realize that once you have a child that your wishes and needs come second to that of your child's needs and wishes.
I think that you need to be able to make the sacrifices that have to be made to make life for your child better than yours ever was.
I think that if you can't say that you agree with, and know that you mean it, to any of the afor mentioned items then you are not ready to have a child no matter what your chronological age is.

between 25 and 30. after 30 the birth complications become a big factor and before 25 is just too young. i just had my 1st at 27 and i plan on having more but not beyong like 32. take into consideration the age you will be when they start walking, running, driving, and going to college. you dont want to have to give up retirement so they can goto college. have them early and get it over with.

I think the best age to start having kids is when you're financial able to and mentally ready so if you're financially able and ready at the age of 20 and up than go for it because once you have a child that's the end of a lot of stuff

I guess it's best when you're about 24 and up.. Though, I had my first at 21, and I still get looked at like a young mother. It's nice though cause I had tons of energy to play with her and now that she's 10, I have fun shopping with her and letting her get clothes she thinks are cool and such. We have a nice relationship. Some moms who have kids near their 40's just don't have the energy. I'm glad I had my girls young, now that i'm older.
