i did a spyware scan and it detected an objet so i then deleted it but im not sure that should i restart the computer after i delete the object?

Usually, you do restart you computer after reconfiguring files of any kind (and spyware/virus removal does reconfigure files). But your computer will prompt you to restart, or that it is about to automatically restart.

If you don't get a prompt, then there's no need to restart manually...although, you can still do it if you want to. It won't hurt anything.

No, you don't have to. When you delete a virus or spyware and it doesnt ask you to restart you computer, you don't have to. If you feel like it will help, you can. It won't harm your computer if you do so.

Wow hey what are u waiting for....do it every time that u get rid of any virus reboot the computer to make sure everything is OK. even when u remove any program i recommend u to do this. hope to be very helpful

ummmm make sure you back up your system first. I remember using Spybot and it messed up my computer luckly I had a back up....it depends where the spyware is...JUST BACK UP YOUR SYSTEM NORTON GHOST IS THE BEST!!!!

I work as a mortgage brokers and I can't afford to have my computer files destroyed.....therefore I beware
