So I tried to restore it 3 months previous, said the samething. My computer is running very slow. I don't have any viruses. Any answers?

you can only restore to a date that is high-lighted in the calender.try and defragment & disk cleanup from system tools.this will help spead it up.

You can make a new system restore point that is not highlited on the calender. You will need to click on the dot where it says create new restore point and type in the date you want to restore to. It will put that in and then you will have to start over with the restore to earlier time/date just as you were doing. You need to have all windows closed to do a system restore. Hope this helps, as it has saved me more times then I care to reveal as I am still a newbie. Good luck .

Yeah, in order to do a system restore, I believe you have to have done some sort of backup thing with it first.

As far as your slow computer, do what g4acre said and defrag your harddrive (and do this regularly), also download Spybot Search and Destroy to get rid of any spyware on your computer that may be slowing it down as well.

1/ You should creat new account for faster
2/ Stop some progaram started with computer when you log on window
+ go tu "RUN" type "MSCONFIG" in TAB start up uncheck all progaram (antivirus you dont need uncheck)
3/ May be you infect Adware (same virues)
+ Need progaram for scan and kill them http://www.webroot.com/consumer/products/spysweeper/
download and install for scan Adware
4/ you need reinstall Windows and use Norton Ghost for Backup Operating System

you probably have a lot of progarns running, go to task manager and close every program except explorer.exe
