My best friend was just proposed to, lives in Chicago. The boyfriend took her to a state park and had his sisters there ahead of time placing a trail of roses. On the roses were little cards with a poem that stated something about their history and pictures of them together. The last one said to put the first letters of the lines of the poem together and they formed a question. Obviously, will you marry me?... My friend was awestruck by the work, time and love put into this. The sisters were also hiding in the woods near by to take pictures of the treasure hunt and the whole kneeling and ring thing.... She will always have something to remember that special day with and never forget it.

A friend of mine...her boyfriend put it on a collar of the cutest little kitten....brought it to work and gave the kitten to her in front of everyone!!! While she was smoozing with the kitten she saw the ring....I don't think there was a dry eye in the place..

i truly think the most romantic is a more traditional way. just out of the blue, he takes a knee & pops the question. totally caught off guard-that's my hope anyway. :)
