smaller lizards you catch in the park

Hmm, if you've washed your hands nice and clean, and it really is a teensy lizard as you say.... Feed it a finger tip. Really, let it bite or nip your finger....if its teeth are *sharp* it is likely an insect eater, but if its bite feels dull, or its teeth like blunt nubs or pegs, it likely eats little bits of fruit and leaf...or you can take the dull, boring and sanitary way out just by a) getting it to open its mouth so you can see its teeth, or b) just alternate feeding it mealworms and wee bits of fruit until it bites something.... But yeah, that is the thing with reptiles, they won't have sharp teeth unless they eat some form of meat. They aren't heterodont the way mammals are (meaning, reptiles will have the same general kind and shape of tooth all through their mouth--snakes and their fangs being the one exception). So check the teeth if you can, some lizards are stupid enough to try eating the wrong thing until it sickens them... Hope this helps and I hope your lizard ends up a good deal less teensy. A fat lizard is generally a happy one if you don't handle it too much. ;)

Nothing. You leave wild animals in the wild. The transition to captive doesn't sit too well with them and they end up dying. Doesnt matter if ts a reptile or a bird. Also you don't know if they might be carrying some sort of disease. They are called anoles or skinks depending where you live, and you can find them at most exotic pet shops for around $5 a piece.

If you can not deliver a constant supply of appropriate sized food ie tiny insects for "teensy" lizards, don't catch the lizards to begin to & release the ones you already have....

Teensy bugs. Also they have to be warm for their system to do it's work.
If this don't help, YEA put it back where you got it. Or some how learn how to take care if it , read fast or talk to a vet.

If you really want to keep them, buy a bunch of small crickets or something from a pet store. But you really should let them go. If you want to keep lizards or reptiles/amphibians of any kind you need a heat lamp or a strong light of some kind for them so that they can keep their body temperatures up.

If all you know about them is that they're "teensy", then you don't know nearly as much about their needs as they do. Return them to the spot where you caught them and release them, the sooner the better.

Put the lizard outside so they can eat the bugs, they are not gong to live if you keep them pinned up.
