I am pregnant and I want to name my daughter Avery, but everyone disagrees and thinks that Avery is a boys name. What do you think?

I always figured boy's name, but I'm reading a book with a female main character named Avery, so I guess it can go either way.

I think that Avery has become a unisex name, like Morgan and Adrian (Adrienne). Name her that, if it's what you like, and pretty soon no one will remember that they thought it was a boys name.
