Its hard to say. Good things are being done, but we are not getting enough support. Especially from the muslims who say they are peaceful. They are not helping as much as they could. They dont stand up agaisnt the extremists as much as they could or should. Yet they will get pissed over a cartoon.
We need to secure our borders as well. Certain extremist groups have already gotten into our country. Even through Mexico. We need to start at home. Even if it means racial profiling.
As far as abroad, we need to step up the fight and keep it to them. But we need help. More support from allies. Less talk, more action. You cant negotiate.
Everyone is saying we need our troops to come home. Sadly, we need more troops deployed if we want to continue to fight terrorism. Its been shown already where we have not had enough at the beginning. Osama wouldve been caught had we sent more to Afgan.

The war needs to continue but we also need to stay positive and strong willed. If we lose our will to fight and prevail, we will lose. The terrorist groups have shown a strong will and they will not back down. We need to learn that from them actually. that is one thing they have got going for them that we need to do ourselves.

Pretty much it will spread throughout the middle east - definitely a civil war in Iraq. Iran, Syria, Lebanon.....a new terrorist is born every minute. Their like hydras - you cut off one of it's tentacles and new ones sprout in its place.
