Go BACK to that Dr. and demand an explanation!!! You are in charge of your health care. What were the test results? If they didn't show anything, why not keep looking for the cause? Change doctors if you're not satisfied with the care you're getting.

Get yourself checked out and take care of yourself. Never allow a symptom to persist unchecked for so long.

Is it a full blown period or spotting?Could you be pregnant? Is it possible maybe you lost a tampon inside? Does it smell bad?
2nd thought, could be Endometriosis. Heavy bleeding, cramping, real cranky, long menstral cycles lasting 2 weeks or more at a time.
Keep a detailed record on a calender. Write down what is occuring...cramping, blood flow and color, how you feel and so on.
Did you ask your doctor about the results of the tests? Ask again and if no response then go to another doctor.

sweety, that isn't normal, nor is it a good thing. You need to get a second opinion. If my doctor said nothing I would find a new doctor. once I had my period for 10 weeks and it turned out I had cervical cancer. I doubt you have that, but you may want to seek professional help from a doctor that wants to let you know whats going on. whether its good or bad. I wish you well in your heath and in your long life as a woman.

Not normal. Lots of different causes, and your age is important. Women at the extremes of fertility, just starting menarche or near menopause often have irregular cycles, but most women should not bleed for more than seven days out of 21. Four to five out of 28 is about average. You need to see a doctor as some of these causes can affect your general health and you also will become anemic (low iron).

No its not normal. Your cycle should come every 28 days which is normally once a month for 3-5 days. If your on a birth control method such as the shot, that may be a reason why. Definitely check with your physician because it might be a serious issue.

You must see another Dr. This is very unhealthy to say the least! First, you are losing way too much blood, and can lead to being anemic. Also, your body is only supposed to disperse one egg, then the menstrual cycle rids the body of this unfertilized egg! Definitely something has gone haywire with your system, Plz, get to another Dr. You may just need a hormone of some type!

I would ask to be put on birth control to regulate your periods. They work out really well had the same problem when I was younger don't worry you will be ok if your doctor isn't talking about any conditions or possible diseases. I ended up having a child so it won't effect that.

Having a period for 3 months don't seem normal. Get a second opinion from another doctor . If that doctor will not answer ,get another one.It is something you should know. It could be serious. You could have cysts on your uterus. Doctors should give you answers

Your doctor needs to communicate with you about the results of those tests...its not normal to have a period for three months no matter what your age is!!!

Are you on the Depo-Provera shot? My friend had the same thing happen to her while she was on the shot & her doctor too said it was normal. When I was on the shot I didnt have a period at all; the shot affects diff. ppl in diff. ways. But if you're not on the shot then you need to keep at it with the doctors until they can tell you something b/c that's def. not normal.
