was the mom and adopted daughter ghost after there ordeal?i had a hard time following it.

Sharon, Rose, and Officer Bennett were killed in their car accidents that happened near the bridge. First evidence is when the three had the ability to go into the alternate dimensions and Rose's husband could not. Second evidence is that Christopher can sense her perfume, but can not see her at the school or at their house at the end. Third evidence is the cell phone conversations which were all static. Fourth evidence is the three can witness the fog while Christopher does not.

OH my gosh I loved the ending... in fact I thought it was the best part. I love it when an ending leaves you with a huge ?? mark!!
I don't know if the mom and daughter have passed on (because the daughter opened her eyes when she was told not to look) OR if they are just in another realm!
Certainly makes for a second movie though eh! lol

I think that whatever infected the town, also infected them since they never wore any masks to cover their face, but since the dad did wear a mask he kept on living, i guess the mom and daughter were in the same world but like a paralel world kinda thing, but i agree very confusing

I didn't see the movie. It suppose to be a movie version of video game.
I heard it wasn't that great. But if you really want to know about try rent the movie and the game. Probably there is some kind of twisted parallel.

They died at the beginning of the movie and were just ghosts in a ghost town. They didn't know and still don't know that they are dead, but the husband knows that they are dead but the bodies were never recovered.

no clue but it was filmed in Brantford and everyone here went to go see it in the theaters n everytime ther was a scary part n ppl recognized brantford ppl would start laughing so it ruined the movie .. turned out lame

Mainly people who played the game knew that when they got into the crash at the beginning thats when they died. So throughout the whole movie they were dead.

Okay! The ending is just saying that the problem was over or not. It is up to you. It was a lame movie.

They were still in the alternate reality. A good way to start the sequel you knew they would make before you seen it.
