Flemish can make great pets, they are called the "Gentle Giant" and are well known for having a calm disposition. As with anything, for every pound of rabbit there is more cleanup!

I wouldn't choose a Checkered Giant, however. They CAN be perfectly nice rabbits but they aren't bred for their temperament and many are downright aggressive. Most breeders won't even defend their reputation ;)

I am a breeder of Flemish Giants and English Lops.

I have a Flemish Buck living in the living room.

His name is Fred and he is great, I have to make the room safe for him... but that wasnt much work.

I have a Large house rabbit cage on order for him from KW cages.

If you have any questions our website is kings rabbitry and you can email us from there.

I have a mini rex, she doesn't look mini AT ALL LOL anyway, IN FACT, there aren't any aggressive breeds , But my rabbit is a mini rex, like i said and she has an alfa personalty , meaning she thinks shes the boss. IT NOT BREED , its personality so it won;t be possible to tell the personality if you get your rabbit as a bunny (baby rabbit)
