the answer is "a". This is because scientists have ranked all living organisms and try to group them according to similarities. The lowest two levels of the grouping are the genus and the species. For instance, humans are classified as "homo sapiens"

i think its a because the scientific name is made up of the genus and species... but i was never one for science.... :)
