Depends... If you like to see how the old "crews" operated, I'd say the Godfather series. But if you want a more modern look, I'd say Goodfellas. I thought Joe Pesci's performance was outstanding as Tommy DeVito.

Goodfellas. I've watched a lot of mafia movies, and the ones that come closest are the Godfather films. Goodfellas was my first gangster movie, and I just have to say that it's the best.
