I'm interested in a guy that I have known for several yrs. He use to own a business, similar to the one I am working in currently. He is good friends with my boss (the owner). This guy knows I'm interested in him, who, btw, is recently divorced. He recently sold his business and now works for a company that my business uses. He is actually our sales rep. I have to wonder if his friendship, with my boss, and the fact that he's our sales rep has anything to do with us not dating. He has told me that he's just not ready to date anyone, and I believe him. I know he got burned pretty good in his divorce. However, I can't help but think this whole situation has something to do with it. He has lots of ladies who hit on him and want to date him. Some of them are his clients, and he won't go out with them. Do you think this could be part of the problem? Are there many people who feel this way? Don't date fellow employees or clients?

It's probably mostly that he isn't ready to date, but also partly that he possibly doesn't mix business with pleasure. When you do that, and things don't work out, it makes for an uncomfortable situation every time he has to visit the company you work for.

I have a personal policy of not fishing off of the company pier. It makes things really messy if it doesn't work out. But that might not be his case....maybe he just isn't ready yet.

The only thing you can do is let him know you're interested and if he comes around....then great. If not, there's lots of fish in the sea.

Good luck!

I just have some advice for you, ask him if he want to go to eat someday and if he says yes than pick a resturant to go eat.And if you want to take it to the next level take this advice, go to a hotel and get a room for him and you then when you are in the room start striping for him, take your cloths off and then take his cloths off and then do sex with him and you will be satisfied with your self.
