Are you overweight? Do you have facial hair? Skintags? Carry weight in your middle? You need more than missed cycles to have PCOS!

See a Gyno, especially if you're having sex. Get tested.

Your body will work in its own time. At 15, you may not be ovulating regularly to have a period, which is just the shedding of your uterine lining after an egg gets released and doesn't get fertilized. If you're not regular by 18, then investigate further.

I have had four periods in my entire life. I am 36 and getting pregnant took some work. I had to take meds to have my periods induced and then I took fertility drugs. First clomid (pills) that did not work so I took injections. My husband and I were very active sexually and had unprotected sex for over 5 years without a baby. But once I started the fertility treatment I was pregnant after 6 cycles, a cycle takes one month. That was baby number one. For number 2, I had to take the pills again and this time the pills worked. I am now 13 weeks pregnant with number 3 and i had to take pills again. The good thing for you is that at least you are having cycles each month. But just because you are having cycles does not mean you are ovulating. You can take a blood test to see if you are actually ovulating. Talk with your doctor and ask for the blood test. I wish you luck.

I had the same thing as you. The doctor put me on birth control pills and ever sense that time, my periods have been on time and less painful. I would recomend going to a doctor and talk about getting put on birth control. After that you will be able to predict when your period is about to start. I am so happy when I started taking them because my periods were so painful and irregular. I thought there was something wrong with me too. Try this and see if that helps.

Well, based on your last question I wouldn't worry too much about PCOS, you don't seem to be complaining about excess hair growth, so it's probably just a normal phase you are going through. In time you may or may not have regular periods and you may decide to either regulate them with birth control or not have them at all. Talk to your doctor about what's best for you and hang in there with the short hair. Short hair is "in" again!

Have you been to a Gynecologist for a check-up?
It would be easier to determine your symptoms with a proper diagnose. Athletes don't have a lot of body fat & tend to lose their period.
