Will has said he has Jewish (Russian?) and Irish ancestry. (Of course you have to take what the Champ say's with a grain of salt.) I can't find anything on Howie Gordon (Gordie Howe??). He reminds in appearance and personality of a number of Italian American's I've met from Chicago.
