me personally..i would tell a white lie in order to protect someone's feelings

I would lie only to make the other person feel better. If I don't want to go to their house because I don't feel like it, or something along those lines, I say I'm not feeling well, or I'm going out with my family. It makes it easier for the both of us, because no one's feelings get hurt. A white lie. That's the best kind of lie.
I also kind of lie to my parents, if I'm embarassed that I have a boyfriend, and they ask me, I say no. Sure, I feel guilty, but I'm embarrassed. Shitt, what else am I gonna do?

To Get Money
To Make Someone Happy

I would only lie to someone if I thought they were spreading rumors. I would know if it were them if the lie came back to me.
