And you're soooooooooooooo dumb, self-centred and ignorant.
I bet you have your own room in a decent house - must have, because you obviously have a computer - you ate all the brownies your mama made, you just have it made, don't you, and from your position, all you can see is that what happened in New Orleans is soooooooooooooooooo last year.
WELL IT IS NOT.
Half the city has not returned, 180,000 jobs have been lost, rents are skyrocketing, labour costs ditto, meaning those who were able to get a few dollars from their miserably stingy insurance companies now do not have enough to pay for the repairs. ALMOST 1,000 PEOPLE ARE STILL MISSING. Let's see - if you were one of those, do you think anyone would care? Probably at least your mama. So why shouldn't you spend at least a moment caring about those people who are still living 9 to a trailer 30-ft long. Is THAT soooooooooo last year?

The reason I am tired of hearing about Katrina is......People here in my home state of Texas suffered hurricane Rita right after Katrina and we opened our state, our homes, our hearts and our wallets for the Katrina victims. And they are still getting all the help and all the recognition.
Well Rita hit us hard also, and since we had opened our homes, hearts and wallets to Katrina, there was nothing left for our own state, our own people.
And we are still being put on the back burner to Katrina victims.
I do not think it is fair to us.

you will proceed to pay attention approximately it in the process something of the Bush presidency. I have been given fifty 4 million hits for "Katrina" and approximately 15 million for "Bush Katrina." Like Neptune of Greek mythology, Bush brought about typhoon Katrina, do no longer you recognize? those college buses interior the flood parking zone? Bush's fault. Mayor and governor no longer doing their job? Bush's fault. Water flows right into a close-by under sea point? Bush's fault. inspite of the undeniable fact that it is going to all magically disappear while the subsequent president takes over, till its a Republican.

i'm so tired of hearing all the stuff about it also. i understand people are still suffering and people are still trying to rebuild their homes and lives, but enough is enough for the rest of the world. there are other things going on in the world without the main focus STILL on katrina. it's getting old really fast. now there are all kinds of shows, movies, etc. on cable about hurricane katrina, give me a break. i know it was a huge disaster, i understand that, but why focus on just that all the time. it's the same as that "world trade center" movie, why just focus on 2 survivors when there's so much more to that whole event than just that. but this is all my opinion.

THe reason?
There wasn't a spin put on it.

.
.Here's another point.....
Have you heard that Katrina hit more than New Orleans?!
No!
Really!
It's just that those in the public housing in N.O. are some of the best beggers in the Nation.
THeir ability to act "victimized" is incredible!

I dont think you would say that if you were living down there.
Lives were taken, and those that weren't were destroyed.
Homes, work, school, it's gone.
Image where you live being PULVERIZED but some natural disaster. We need to band together, not be jealous!
