Why not stay together? If you grow apart while away from each other, then so be it. If you stay together, then what have you lost?

Forget it, sweetie......throw all the prom queen and king stuff out the window...it means nothing. I guess since you are both going in different directions then, yes, it would probably be a good idea to break the ties for now. Neither of you should be in a position of feeling guilty about meeeting new people. Chances are, the high school boyfriend will be just that....the high school boyfriend! Each needs to do your own thing and maybe see how things are when you come home for Thanksgiving. But, you are going to do what you want to do anyway.........so why even ask????

i agree with the guy above, take a break from each other. You'll meet so many other interesting people..then maybe when you both graduate, if you're both still available, maybe it will work out, but chances aren't that good.....but who knows? just enjoy school.

No....if you stay together, you'll look back and wish you had broken up right from the start. Don't waste any of your college years. Mutually end it now..

just let it go. go into college single. it's way more fun that way. i made that huge mistake my first year and i didn't enjoy myself. i didn't go out or anything just because i didn't want to upset him or miss his phone call. unless, of course, you two think you can do it.

well, if you guys can deal with the distance, and work out the relationship while dating long distance, then I say you should go for it.

you know if you still like him like before or love him...ASK YOURSELF...also talk to him too...wat does he want?
