The way the White Sox have been playing this month, I'd have to say they're going to be watching their televisions in October.

I think that the Detroit Tigers are definitely going.

If the Sox can get their act together and wake up in September, then the wild card race will be between the Twins and the Sox.

White Sox aren't going to the playoffs. If you see, they got a half game on the Twins. The Twins will beat the Sox for the Wild Card. If they still have Liriano they will be unhittable, but they wouldn't win the division, because the Tigers are playing better since the last time they had a winning season (1993).

i might say Minnesota; the Twins are 4 video games in the back of the Tigers yet have 7 head-to-head matchups left---3 this weekend and four interior the acceptable week of the season. The Twins probable ought to circulate 6-a million against the Tigers in those sequence to have a possibility. by the type, those 7 video games may additionally supply Joe Mauer a possibility to earn the MVP. If the Twins in simple terms pass over by utilising a million or 2 video games, i ought to work out Mauer deserving it. yet while the Twins circulate 2-5 or a million-6 (and that they are going to stand 2 stable pitchers of three this weekend), then Mauer should not be interior the controversy. The Texas Rangers are finished.

I wish it was the White Sox but I'm gonna have to say that I don't know if the Tigers will do it.I don't think that they are as strong as they were a few months ago and I think the Twins and White Sox have gotten. If they do make it....which I hope they do....they will really have to pick up the pace for the end of the season.

The White Sox are on the way to being eliminated from the playoffs. Last year was just a freak year. They will not repeat.

Detroit has squirreled away enough wins to gain the division. The Red Sox and Angels don't have pitching depth to get in. So, it comes down to Twins vs. White Sox for the Wild Card. They have fairly similar schedules, so that is out as a deciding factor. They both have great closers so that is out. People are talking about Dye as an MVP candidate that no one is talking about. Oh wait, doesn't that mean they are talking about him? But Dye and Konerko are pretty close to Mauer and Morneau. A small advantage for the White Sox, but the Twins have the starting pitching. Santana hasn't lost since July 9th. He has more wins againts Chicago than any other team. Frankly, I just don't see him losing much more this season and Radke and Liriano are winning quite a bit too. Minnesota will be in and Chicago will be out.
