Haha this is a nice one had to recall it from my freshman year in high school lol 3 years ago wow....this is a basic Algebra II problem that Calculus people laugh at depending on your approach you can get a simplified and non simplified answer. Mine is simplified.

C = 5/9(F - 32)
C = 5/9F - 17.8
Subtract -17.8 from both sides and get:
C - 17.8 = 5/9F
Divide both sides by 5/9 to get F alone and get:
(C-17.8) / (5/9) = F
Simplify and get:
-32.04C=F

c= 5/9(f-32)
9c/5=f-32

f= 9/5C+32

This should be the answer since we know only variable

I'm in Algebra II as well, and I'm sort of struggling, so this might not be right.

But I got...... 9c / 5 + 32 = F

And you've got the right answer, provided you started with the correct formula. Nice job.
