Depends on what kind of public records you are looking for. MOST County clerks have websites that allow you to view records online for free. Do a search of the county where the records are located and see if they have a website. Keep in mind that there are SOME records that you not viewable to the general public because of the privacy act. If you want to check the criminal back ground of somone, MOST states have an inmate search and you can check that by typing the state and the words "inmate search" into any search engine. Hope this helps.

Go online to the county and state where you want to see public records. Just type in: Clerk of Court! Most counties have this service now, but there may be a few who are not online yet, but check it out. You can get most anything of information you need.

Look to see if your county records are on line. My county has most of our county records on line and available for all to see. Do a search on your county name and records search. Good luck.
