How strange you should ask - I wondered that the day I watched her 'funeral service' on tv. We'll never know, but I'd like to think that the government didn't let that one go.

Absolutely alive. She had served her time in prison, but as her crimes were so terrible and were so imprinted on the nation's psyche, there is no way she would have lasted 5 minutes free in Britain. She's been released and given a new identity to sonewhere like Brazil or some out-of-the-way place like that.
