Most of the times I hold grudges and plot revenge.

I've done both over the years. Of late I've elected the forgive policy. Forgetting isn't in the cards, I don't get burned twice by the same match. Grudges just hurt the bearer. Revenge never brings back the lose. Forgiveness frees the person who is the offended party, lets you get on with moving forward in life. Forgetting though, that's for chumps; very foolish!

I don't get revenge, but I may hold a grudge. I will forgive, but I never forget.

Forgive and forget. Why hold a grudge? All that wasted energy of hateing and feelings of anger, and for what? Revenge? I doubt all that hate and anger inside me would just disapper or turn into love and happiness for the person when Id get revenge. Id feel abit of joy full of rage at the time of my revenege, then Id still be angry with the person. Since they end up in front of their maker then why do I need to judge them?

I forgive because holding a grudge only hurts me, not the other person. Forgive and move on i s my motto. Life is too short and precious to put energy into negative stuff.

I have done both, but forgiving is the better way to go. If you don't forgive, it eats at you. It's better to just stay away from the person for awhile and in time it does ease it. If you get revenge, that eats at you too in the long run.

I forgive, but don't forget. If someone has done you wrong once, watch out for them to do it again. Don't try to get revenge. Vengance is the Lord's. In other words, what goes around, comes around. Everyone gets what's coming to them. Good or bad.
