If the 15 year old doesn't know any slang or curse language yet, its pretty inappropriate.
But if you're one of the 99.99% of people who do or did know some violent language by that age, by all means its appropriate.
(as long as you don't act on what you're seeing in the game)

Depends. Are you up-to date? Do you know what's happening around the world? Can you watch R rated movies? Do you watch TV? Do you understand the consequences of your actions? Do you understand that the game is just a game, not real?. If you do, then I think any age between 12+ is ok why? because there is too much violence/sex/drugs/etc on tv/internet/movies/etc. I played it when I was 12, and now im 14, and I know what's right from wrong, and I know why they had to rate it M for Mature. Why? because dumbass teenagers think that that's how life is, and that's why teens are getting killed because of their stupid actions. Just like the movie Fast & Furious, it's PG13, but it was meant to be rated R. Why? because I heard that some teens tried to pull of the "Drive Between The Trucks" stunt, and got killed. But as long as you know what you're doing then.....

Yes I think it is very much so because of the language, violence, the lifestyle of the street. A 15 year old would be easily influenced by all of this. Let he/she wait another couple of years. I would say like 17.

First of all, don't ask people questions WHEN NONE OF THEM HAVE KIDS. They are retarded because they don't know how kids think. He is not too old for the game, better it be stealing and killing on a TV screen then on the streets. The game is similar to ScarFace and the GodFather. If you are comfortable with your son watching ScarFace or the Godfather Series, then yes get him the game. Next time focus the question on people who have kids, because obviously these guys don't.

That would depend on the opinion of the parents of the 15 year old.
Those games are rated "M" for mature. They're not to be sold to anyone under the age of 17.
If the parents think it's OK...well,then OK.

No. I think at 15 they are too old for it to affect their mind much. Especially if they don't sit there and play it all day.

No. Not in my opinion anyway, but I'm fairly liberal when it comes to censorship.
People might say yes b/c of gang membership, violence, drugs, language, etc.
