I need help comparing and contrasting Spanish colonialization with English colonialization in the "new world"

1.) Spanish colonies in America were geared towards taking resources out of America and sending it home to Spain. As a general rule, Spain didn't push colonialization, and there was not a lot of demand in Spain to move to America.

2.) English colonies in America were often established for settlers to move to America. At the time, any non-Anglican in England had to pay a tax, and were often subject to persecution. The simplest solution was for them to emigrate to America, getting them out of England's hair, and colonizing England's colonies in the New World.

The English colonies differed from Spanish colonies in this way. Spanish colonies were established to merely copy of the European Spanish empire. The English planned the same, at first, but as people from different religions began to settle in the Americas because of religious persecution.
