Out of all the actors in that category, Tony Shaloub deserved to win. He is absolutely brilliant as Monk. I adore Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men, but Tony has out acted all of them. He was the right choice.

I love Tony Shaloub as Monk. I'm thrilled that he won. His character gives hope to those suffering from OCD, showing that there is always a person behind any disorder.

Tony Shalhoub is an amazingly talented man who's got a wonderfully written character. I love Charlie Sheen, but it doesn't take anything away from Charlie to have Tony Shalhoub win the Emmy. They're all talented men.

no, not at all. Tony Shaloub does an excellent job in his roll. I can not even imagine any other actor filling that roll. He is both talented and funny

Shaloub is alright, but Carel not winning is a crime.

No. I figured he'd win again. It's got to be really hard to play someone as weird as Monk convincingly.
I'm a big Monk fan, and I like the new show Psych that follows it on USA.
