Can any one tell me/direct me in resurfacing my mortal caombat dvd for my ps2?

I know that I can but a machine, but I want to know who and how u were successful in doing so at home. if any one has any ideas please help. thanx.

I bought some cheesy cleaning system,followed the directions, ruined the disc even more than when I began :(
