Well, I really didn't think of that. All I knew was that I had a task to do. How was I supposed to know that they make "weak" bumpers ! I didn't think that simply tying a rope to that damn tree trunk and the other end to my bumper and then gassing the car would create such a bigger problem. When I took off, the damn trunk was still there ----- so was my bumper and other unidentifiable pieces. I guess I should have known better. All right, so on to plan "B".

Fine, fine. I admit it. Are you happy now? I know I probably should have known better, but it was just one margarita too many and I lost all sense of perspective. Of course, now you'll want to point out that I should have known better than to have that last drink. *sigh*
Do I get extra points for saying I learned my lesson?

Yes but next time I will know better, and the time after that a little better and so on. Live and learn. Learning from your mistakes is a good thing, but learning from someone else's is even better.

Of course I should have known better. What? Do you think I'm daft of something? In fact...I did know better. It was all part of my devious plan to make you think I didn't know what I was doing.
Um.
Er.
What should I have known?

Yes I know better but at my age I've earned the right to not care.
Besides, it's fun.

Without mistakes, we don't learn. Specially when there's no mentor walking with us 24/7. Live and learn, Jen.
