the update Monday morning takes Ernesto right up the east coast , passing North Carolina on Saturday.....by Saturday and Sunday there will be LARGE on shore waves in Delaware, but your sister should be out of there by then......

It should not. The Hurricane is not going to come up the coast. If it did, then yes, the waves would be a issue. Looks like it is going to hit the west side of Florida. By the time the remnats of the storm make it to Delaware, it will not even be a Hurricane any more. Will however most likely see alot of rain though.
