I have a lot and am going to have a house built on it. Before it built I would like to draw the lot, and draw the house on the lot to figure out the best place to put it.

Broderbund makes some good software for this, you can find it at most computer retail stores. That's what I use for remodel planning.

the easiest way i have found is good ole graph paper....but if ur about to build a house u will need a plat with the location of the house on it for the building inspector and/or bank....this will require a surveyor if bank involved....

try google sketch. it is easy to understand after you take the training for about 30 minutes. everything is included in tghe software package. Just google "google sketch" then go from there.
