An iPod is the best brand of MP3 player. They generally have higher memories and features. iPods certainly have more accessories like chargers and covers than any other MP3 player. However, many MP3 players have basically the same capabilities as iPods do, so if you're not interested in buying iBling, then another MP3 player might be right for you.

An iPod is an mp3 player made by Apple just like the Sentra is a car made by Nissan. There are hundreds of types of mp3 players out there. There are alot of opinions about which is better.
Many people who are not experienced with computers find iPods easier to use. There are more accessories for the iPod than any other mp3 player on the market. iPods tend to be some of the smallest, lightest, and nicest looking mp3 players out there.
iPods, however are known for their short battery life. Apple is a difficult company to get customer service from and iPods are also some of the most expensive mp3 players on the market.
I suggest that you find some friends who have mp3 players and spend a few minutes getting to know diferent kinds. Your local electronics store should have some on display that you can play arround with too.

Apple's "IPOD" is a brand (much like honda is a brand of car)
Oh, and the people who are saying "ipods can hold more" are on crack.

Not much. Both play mp3s. iPod is Apple's brand of mp3 players. It's a lot more expensive than other mp3 players out there.

absolutley nothing thats just Apples name for there MP3 player.
u just get music for Ipod from iTunes and others u get from other places.

about $100...go with an mp3 player you can add songs from any program. ipod only lets you add from iTunes

ipod can ply nearly all the formats will mp3 will only play mp3 format so ipod is better and costly

well an i-pod can hold more songs its easier to find and it can hold music movies and vedios and more it has a stopwatch,clock,calender,notes, and much more! so i perfure and i-pod
