She has a very nice personality, and is very cute. But she is 2 years younger than me, and at my age 2 years is a little too much. Please don't think I am weird. I know her because she is friends with some of my bro's friends. Any advice. She is pretty popular too.

We are both under 18. I'm in High School, she's in junior high.

I know her parents pretty well, asking her out would be like suicide.

Well, her parents like me, but again the age difference. Again we are both under 18, and no I am not dating her....I would like too.

Personal opinion: 2 years is not too big a difference. No one your age will think you're crazy for having a gf two years younger than you, and all her friends will be jealous of her, so that's not a problem. I say start taking her out on semi-dates without calling them dates. I mean like, do stuff in the afternoon (not night). They used to call it "courting". Then you'll get to test the waters without actually saying that you are going out. Example: "Hey, I'm going to see, (insert movie-name here) do you want to come with me?" If you are paying, she'll almost certainly say "yes". The trick here is, Do Not Try To Make any romantic moves. Just be "friends" for a while. Eventually ask her out for an actual date. Trust me, she'll be in love with you before you even ask her on a real date. Also, don't be one of those jerks who tells his guy friends he's just dating her because she puts out. If you end up dating and like her, just be honest about your relationship.

Wait. At least until she gets into high school. If you think it's going to be such a big deal to her parents, then it probably will be and you don't want to get on their bad side. If she's a good girl then by dating her, the only thing more you're going to be getting by dating is some kisses. (which isn't worth the fact that her parents are going to hate you) Be friends with her. It's okay to even have her as your best friend without dating her. You're young, and you have all the time in the world. Plus friends make the best boy/girlfriends anyway. You can hang out and do pretty much the same things without labeling each other anyway. That's only for possession reasons. Don't worry about her getting another boyfriend b/c she won't if she likes you as much as you like her. Just make sure when you do start dating her you show her how much you like her. Don't just tell her.

Well if you were both 12 and 10, wait. But if your 16 and 14, go ahead. My boyfriend is 3 years older than me. He was out of school while I was in tenth grade.

It's okay to ask her out, if you think she would like that too. But make sure she is willing. Do you think she's a mature girl? And try to let out your Juniour High self when you're with her. Two years only seems like a lot because people are seperated by grade.

my opinion, as a parent, is to ask her parents! Tell them you have been thinking about her for quite a while and would like their permission to see their daughter. They will be impressed and shocked but they will know then that you respect them! and will respect their daughter..... if they say yes, there may be rules, but atleast that way you know them and can follow them and get to see her without worrying!
bite the bullet! if they say no, respect their wishes.
