They are the defrost mechanism. When you turn on the defrost, it sends an electrical current through them that heats up the window and melts the ice / frost / fog.

Most of the lines are for the window defroster, but some cars have antennas embedded in the back window as well. The antennas can be for the radio, keyless entry, GPS, or an OnStar type service.

Window defroster, they are little heating mechanisms. Be careful if you have tint on your windows and for some reason take it off, it will take the heating element off as well if you are not careful.
