No. Politics has really nothing to do with string theory or the theory of quantum gravity. It sounds more like a Republican strategy, i.e. whine about terrorism and everyone will listen to all your other idiotic ideas.

What kind of word is "Renormalizable"? Did you just make that up? Most of the Democrats I know have college degrees in various hard subjects like Engineering and Physics.
