I always type www.ebay.com but suddenly tonight internet explorer will only allow me to type http:/ before www in order to initiate search when I click the "go" button. I checked tools, internet options, advanced and search to most likely site; I also ran adwareSE free version and am now scanning with norton. No viruses have been found. Any suggestions? Anyone? Help?

Yeah. I really think you typed it in wrong the first time. Try again. There really is no virus or browser hijack that would do this.
