1) I feel so stressed and have a hard time in my life. I pray but sometimes I just let time
pass it by. Isn't there any other way?

2) I can't really hear what God is trying to say to me. I can't hear him "talk"
and how do I know when I'm blessed by the Holy Spirit???

3) Thanks!

If you've been baptized then you've already received the holy spirit. So don't worry about that. It can be hard to pray when one is stressed and sometimes it doesn't feel like our prayers are being listened to or that God is talking to us. One thing to keep in mind is not to get overly focused on how prayer makes you feel. Feelings or emotions aren't something we always have control over. They aren't something to be proud of or be ashamed of. They just are. If a person simply lacks an emotion, perhaps she doesn't feel "warm fuzzies" from praying, this doesn't mean God isn't blessing her. Getting an emotional boost from prayer does not mean you're more holy - not getting an emotional boost from prayer doesn't mean you're less holy. Everyone goes through periods in their life when prayer goes well, when you feel like you're having a conversation with God, and then come periods of aridity when it seems like nothing is happening. Don't get discouraged. Keep praying and stay faithful to the gospel - that's what matters most.

Also, if you are having trouble filling up the time with prayer, trouble of thinking what to say, perhaps use prayers from the psalms or some of the canticles in the bible. It can be hard to pray when we're depending on ourselves all the time to come up with a prayer.

God sometimes test our patience and faithfulness. He wants us to know that thing will work on His time schedule since he knows what best for us. If it is meant to be then it will happen in his time otherwise you may receive what your asking for at the wrong time and it will not work as you planned.

God speaks in many different ways. Sometimes we expect to hear him one way and he has already spoken to us another way. For example, sometimes God gives me instructions through my dreams. I know when it's him because I usually don't remember my dreams unless it is of God.

Read the Book of Acts and this should help with knowing whether or not you have received the Holy Spirit.

Hope this helps

i hope this helps you, when we pray we are talking to God and when we read the bible He is talking back to us . you would do well to read the book of proverbs it is calming and helps to give wisdom. also it is a good idea to pray for wisdom and help to learn about God, the bible says keep knocking and it will be opened. look into a bible study it would help in your day to day . as for holy spirit God blesses those who are doing his will and actively learning about him so they can try to , ask your self am i doing all i can to fit into those categories im sure He will help you.

You cant actually "hear"God. what u feel, is Him talking to u. one suggestion I have is your attitude...not that u have a bad one. But if u always think the worst, the worst is going to happen. if u have a positive attitude, good things WILL start to happen, u wont feel so stressed. God wants u to put ur problems on Him. Tell Him each day, "i'm not going to worry about it, I know You will take the burdeons off my shoulders.
